Paraty

Between Forest and Sea

Paraty always felt to me like a place before another door opened.

There is the city, with its stones, books, restaurants, and old walls. There is the water, always close. There is the forest behind it. And there is a peace that seems to arrive before the story begins.

From this threshold, the city opens in different directions: toward its streets, toward an encounter by the forest and water, and toward the landscapes still waiting beyond the historic centre.
