Silent lives,timeless devotion
Listen first, let the rhythm open the page
I speak of those who remain unseen.
Without them, no costume would breathe, no song would rise.
Behind every thread, behind every beat, silent lives are carrying the dream.
Cristiano, Ícaro, and the woman who guards the atelier.
Each one is a guardian. They do not seek glory, yet without them, carnival would have no body, no breath.
Here you will meet their faces. Only three, yet they echo the thousands of hands that weave this universe.
It is because of them that, each year, we can forget, escape, and believe again in the most beautiful thing in the world.
Guardians of the Silent Work

Cristiano Bara
Cristiano Bara is a Brazilian carnavalesco known for his creative work with schools such as Beija-Flor and Vila Maria. For Carnival 2025, he led the artistic direction of Inocentes de Belford Roxo, reimagining the celebrated 2008 theme “Ewe, healing comes from the forest”. Despite his ambitious vision, the parade faced challenges and placed 10th in the Série Ouro, marking the end of his tenure with the school.

Icaro Ribeiro Ferreira Meira
Not only a producer, but a storyteller.
His hands bring emotion to the screen,
his eye blends precision with sensitivity.
Beside Cristiano, he weaves narratives that outlast the parade. -

Beautiful Soul
At the heart of the atelier, one woman holds the weight of countless hands.
She welcomes, she guides, she keeps the threads together.
Her presence is not celebrated on stage,
yet without her, the music would lose its ground.

Backstage
Where sequins meet sweat, and dreams are stitched by hand.
This is where the parade begins
in threads and feathers,
in music rising before dawn.

Through their devotion, the dream does not vanish.
It is held, year after year, in silence and in song.
